Position: Manager – Central Sterile Processing
About: Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager for the Sterile Processing Department. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with organization-wide sterilization policies and procedures, and optimizing the use of technology to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Manager will report to the Director, Surgical Services, and collaborate to support surgical services and related areas.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Bachelor of Science in relevant healthcare field preferred, or 5+ years of perioperative experience with completion of a 2-year healthcare-related degree within 2 years of hire; 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in sterile processing, preferably in a hospital setting required; or 8 years of directly related perioperative experience without a degree required; Certification as CRCST or above through IAHCSMM OR certification as CSPDT or above through CBSPD
