Position: Manager – Central Sterile Processing
About: Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Department Manager to oversee the daily operations, instrument sterilization policies, and processes, ensuring timely availability of resources to support surgical services. This position reports to the Director, Surgical Services, and aligns with the organization’s strategy, vision, and values. Compliance with relevant regulations is essential.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Bachelor of Science in a relevant healthcare field OR 5+ years experience in a Perioperative setting; 3+ years Management experience in sterile processing in a hospital setting required; Certification as CRCST or above through IAHCSMM OR certification as CSPDT or above through CBSPD
