Position: Manager – Central Sterile Processing
About: Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a Manager for Central Sterile Processing to oversee the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring the implementation of sterilization policies and procedures. This leadership role requires management of resources to support surgical services while complying with healthcare regulations. Candidates should have extensive experience in perioperative settings and relevant certifications.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Bachelor of Science in a relevant healthcare field preferred; 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in sterile processing required; Certification as CRCST or above through IAHCSMM OR certification as CSPDT or above through CBSPD required; strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer relation skills; ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions; basic computer and clerical skills; near normal vision and manual dexterity required; ability to perform repetitive tasks and motions; physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, lift, carry over 20 lbs, and reach above shoulder
