Position: Major Gifts Officer
About: Wings Over the Rockies, a non-profit community organization located in Denver, is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to support their annual fundraising efforts. The organization operates the official Air & Space Museum in Colorado and hosts various events and educational programs to promote aviation.
Requirements: Minimum three (3+) years in professional fundraising working directly with donors to solicit gifts; Proven record of fundraising results; Planned giving experience a plus; Strong presentation, persuasion and storytelling skills, both verbal and written; Aptitude for prioritizing and managing time in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities; Strong project management and organizational skills; accepts responsibility for quality, accuracy, and timeliness; Able to communicate professionally and sensitively with a diverse audience and wide range of individuals, communities, and organizations; Possess creativity, a positive attitude, diplomacy, discretion, and a deep respect and understanding of donor relationships; Must be goal oriented with an understanding how to build consensus; Ability to work on a team within a collaborative environment; Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Blackbaud (Altru) CRM preferred
