Position: Maitre D’ – Lead Host
About: Highgate Hotels, a premier real estate investment and hospitality management company, is seeking a Maitre D’ for The Knickerbocker, a luxury hotel in Times Square, New York. The Knickerbocker offers 300 luxe guestrooms and suites with incredible views and bespoke furnishings, providing a posh and authentic New York City experience.
Requirements: High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. Must be able to stand during entire shift. Effective communication skills and ability to prioritize departmental functions. Proven ability to handle guest and operational issues effectively. Cross-training in other hotel-related areas is a plus. Maintain confidentiality and show initiative in anticipating guest needs. Friendly demeanor and ability to handle various duties as requested by management.
Benefits: Hourly pay rate of $25/hr
