Requirements: Prefer a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant Maitre D experience or equivalent; accurate mathematic skills; ability to pass an exam in English with 90% or better in menu and specials, wine list, liquor list and specialty drinks, liquor liability laws and knowledge, and restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers; punctuality with personal schedule requirements; warm, sincere, outgoing personality; ability to interact maturely with guests; strong memory for guest details and ability to maintain restaurant image; patience and courtesy in handling difficult guests; physical endurance to stand for long periods, move safely throughout the restaurant, work in noisy and crowded spaces, handle large sums of money, move furniture, and work nights, weekends, and holidays
