Position: Maitre D
About: Maggiano’s Little Italy, a renowned full-service restaurant offering authentic family recipes and a scratch kitchen, is currently seeking a Maitre D to join their team. The restaurant provides a warm and inviting dining experience for guests, with a focus on exceptional service and high-quality cuisine.
Requirements: Prefer a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant Maitre D experience or the equivalent; accurate mathematic skills; ability to pass an exam in English with 90% or better in menu and specials, wine list, liquor list and specialty drinks, liquor liability laws and knowledge, and restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers; punctuality and warm, outgoing personality; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle challenging situations with patience and courtesy; physical fitness to stand for long periods, move throughout the restaurant, and work in a noisy, crowded environment; availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
