Position: Maitre D
About: Maggiano’s Little Italy is currently seeking a Maitre D to join their team. This Italian-inspired restaurant offers authentic family recipes in a scratch kitchen setting, providing a warm and welcoming dining experience for guests.
Requirements: Prefer a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant Maitre D experience or the equivalent; accurate mathematic skills; ability to pass an exam in English with 90% or better in menu and specials, wine list, liquor list and specialty drinks, liquor liability laws and knowledge, restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers; punctuality, outgoing personality, ability to relate to guests effectively, mature and professional interaction with guests, physical stamina to stand for long periods, work in a noisy and crowded environment, handle money transactions, and work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
