Position: Maintenance Supervisor
About: This position is for a hotel maintenance supervisor responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of a hotel property. The individual will be in charge of ensuring the safety and functionality of building systems, equipment, and facilities to provide a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff members. The role includes handling preventive maintenance programs, emergency responses, and supervising a facility attendant for efficient operation of maintenance tasks and projects within the hotel.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; two years technical maintenance training or experience preferred; experience in managing budgets and capital expenditures preferred; supervisory experience preferred; effective verbal and written communication skills; possess working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry; knowledge of facility regulations and safety standards (OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, NFPA); ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and be on-call; valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record; ability to operate various maintenance equipment and tools; understanding of guest needs and expectations; practice safety standards at all times
