About: The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Division of Facilities Services in Alaska is seeking a Maintenance Specialist BFC Journey 1 to contribute to maintaining State facilities in an efficient and economical manner. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of electrical equipment, components, instruments, systems, and their maintenance; mechanical skills including machine and tool repair; painting expertise for applying protective coatings; plumbing and pipefitting experience for pipeline and fixture maintenance; strong problem-solving abilities
