Position: Logistics Supervisor
About: Under the general direction of the Logistics Managers and Directors, the Materials Management Supervisor is responsible for supporting operational daily aspects of Supply Chain Operations and Laundry and Linen service areas in the medical centers/hospitals and ambulatory clinics. The role involves supervising staff, providing financial oversight, managing compliance audits, and assisting in the development of policies and procedures. Responsibilities include supervising materials management team members, overseeing supply replenishment, developing policies for process improvements, creating reports on inventory, and maintaining staff schedules.
Requirements: 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a hospital setting preferred; experience managing staff, including coordinating staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and counseling; required to hold a valid driver’s license; ability to oversee staff orientation and ongoing technical education; strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills; demonstrated advanced knowledge of basic computer operations and software; demonstrated knowledge of Materials Management information systems; ability to adhere to healthcare regulations for infection control; high attention to detail and accuracy; skilled in setting priorities and working independently; positive guest relations and patient interactions; ability to attend in-services and workshops; experience with Lawson preferred.
