Position: Logistics Operations Manager, Server Operations
About: As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will lead and manage all logistics operations required within the Google data center campuses and mini-clusters in North and South America. Standard services include receiving, shipping, quality control, rack movements, rack placement, tray assembly, cabling, spare parts management, decommissions, returns, and RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorizations). Google’s Technical Infrastructure team plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining data centers to support Google’s product portfolio, ensuring optimal user experience online.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience; 5 years of experience managing third-party logistics providers/vendors; 5 years of experience in logistics and operations management; experience managing operations in multiple locations simultaneously; ability to be successful in operations management, problem-solving, third-party logistics vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management.
