About: Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a diligent Linen Distribution Attendant to join the Linen Services team. The role involves collecting soiled linen, cart loading, delivering clean linen, and participating in linen inventories following set standards. Adherence to JACHO/OSHA guidelines is crucial, including the use of gloves and hospital-issued scrubs when handling soiled linen. Responsibilities also include managing the Scrub Suit exchange system and stocking scrubs in user areas.
Requirements: No requirement; Preferred educational qualifications: High School completion/GED; Position specific testing requirement: Successful completion of pre-employment test if preferred educational qualification is not met; Must be 18 years of age due to equipment handling; No prior job-related work experience; Preferred experience: Prior Laundry production; Knowledge in laundry production, stocking, and/or inventory is a plus.
