Position: Linen and Glassware Service Personnel
About: This position is for a Linen Preparation Personnel in the Party & Events Industry, created by the American Rental Association. The work involves cleaning, inspecting, ironing, and packaging linens, as well as restocking cleaned and packaged linens. Additionally, the role includes cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting glassware and china to ensure quality, restocking cleaned and packaged glassware and china, verifying counts on returned items, recording missing items, staging customer pick-ups and deliveries, filling in for other positions when needed, and adhering to company policies and procedures for smooth operation of the business. Daily tasks include using washers, dryers, flatwork ironers, and commercial dishwashers.
Requirements: Must be able to lift approximately 25 lbs; must maintain a professional personal appearance; must be able to use mathematics to solve problems; computer knowledge is preferred; must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus.
