Position: Line Cooks – $18 – $23 + benefits (Miami Beach Location)
About: Uchiko, located in Miami Beach, is accepting resumes for Line Cooks. Orientation is slated to begin in January 2025 with a planned opening date in February 2025. Uchiko is the offspring of James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole’s original non-traditional Japanese concept, taking a fiery turn bringing smoke and char alongside fresh and clean flavors that define Uchi. Hai Hospitality is an exciting, multi-concept restaurant group based in Austin, Texas, with various award-winning restaurant concepts across different locations in the United States.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers; detect and identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines; lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs; stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items; work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments; work in a variety of temperatures; maintain a clean and organized workspace; respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs; work in close proximity with coworkers in a busy kitchen or serving area; tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors; maintain a professional and hygienic appearance; understand directives and communicate effectively with Leadership and coworkers
