About: Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises Employment Services is seeking a Line Cook to lead a small team in preparing and presenting a variety of food items for different meal periods at the campus location. The position involves working under the supervision of the Sous Chef or Executive Chef, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring timely service for customers.
Requirements: High school degree and five years’ experience in a commercial, hotel, or fast-food kitchen; at least three years of supervisory experience preferably in a kitchen environment; valid CA driver’s license and insurance; current Servsafe or equivalent Foodhandler’s card; ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures; resourcefulness and initiative; ability to work cooperatively in a multi-ethnic environment; flexibility with changing schedules
