Position: Line Cook job

About: Valley River Inn is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join their team in Eugene. The Inn offers over 250 fully renovated rooms and suites, a dining destination called Sweet Waters on the River, and ample meeting and event space along the Willamette River. They provide a tranquil retreat with a blend of modern comforts and Pacific Northwest charm, creating a connection to Eugene’s natural surroundings.

Requirements: 5+ years industry experience; able to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures; ability to cook and direct banquets up to 100 guests with a small team; necessary State Food Handler’s License(s); working knowledge of sauces, butchering techniques, and specialized equipment like slicers and convection ovens; knife skills and ability to adjust preparations for flavor and customer needs
