Position: Line Cook job
About: HAPPIER is building a community for creators with the help of creators! We are looking for energetic, passionate, and professional Line Cooks to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up kitchen stations. Line Cook’s duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our members’ and guests’ satisfaction. We are seeking exceptional individuals who provide a luxurious guest experience – line cooks with a background in fine dining venues. The facility is a multifaceted destination that creates space for everyday lives, featuring 30,000 sq. ft of facilities, including workspaces, art studios, recording studios, conference rooms, private bars and a restaurant, a Wellness Spa & Gym, a pool, and a rooftop deck.
Requirements: Proven 1-2 years of cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook; Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures; Demonstrate a friendly, high-energy personality with a positive and team-oriented approach; Strong communication skills are a must; Able to handle multiple tasks and work well in an environment with time constraints; Able to handle last-minute changes; Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as staying on your feet, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy objects; Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property; Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards; FULL AVAILABILITY – daytime hours, evening hours, and weekends
