Position: Line Cook job

About: The Daniel Island Club is a private club located on the north end of Charleston’s Island town, providing year-round, family-friendly recreation for an active and diverse membership. The club offers extensive amenities including 36-holes of nationally ranked golf, a well-appointed practice facility, a 65,000 square foot clubhouse with multiple dining options, two resort-style pools, 16 tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.

Requirements: Minimum three (3) years training as a Cook or equivalent work experience; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and near hot surfaces; ability to stand for the majority of work shift; knowledge of and ability to use standard commercial kitchen equipment; works from verbal and written instructions and communicates well with coworkers and supervisors; must have working knowledge of basic culinary techniques; must have basic knife handling skills; able to use various kitchen equipment such as convection ovens, gas ranges, salamanders, broilers, deep fryers, flat top, grills, slicers, and rice cookers.
