About: Constellation Culinary Group at The New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, NY, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is your chance to grow within a dynamic team of professionals, contribute to innovative menus, and serve exceptional dishes to our guests in one of NYC’s most beautiful dining settings. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that align with our commitment to sustainability and culinary excellence. You’ll have the chance to work with fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients, many of which are plant-based, while contributing to menus that elevate dining experiences. Working in a fast-paced kitchen, you’ll need to bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for food preparation. Compensation is $22-$25 an hour.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Over 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary school background preferred; Passionate about plant-forward, sustainable cuisine with a strong desire to continue learning and growing in the culinary field; Solid understanding of kitchen operations and high-volume production; Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment; Strong communication and teamwork skills, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere; Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and maintaining an efficient, clean workspace; Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings; Interest in working with seasonal, locally sourced, and sustainable ingredients
