Position: Line Cook job
About: El Five, located on the fifth floor of 2930 Umatilla in Denver, offers spectacular views of the downtown Denver skyline. This restaurant pays homage to Spain and the Mediterranean with tapas and small plates inspired by bold flavors from the region. A highlight of the space is the large open-air patio with panoramic views of the city skyline.
Requirements: Can function in a high-volume kitchen with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively; Experience with and/or willingness to explore various cuisines, techniques, and cooking styles required; Commitment to sustainable kitchen practices; Mindset focused on learning and personal development, bringing energy and a positive attitude; Ability to work collaboratively and independently; Strong knowledge of and dedication to high-level food handling and storage standards and procedures; Proficient in setting up, organizing, working, replenishing, and cleaning a professional workstation; Physical stamina to stand and move throughout a shift, open availability including nights and weekends; Must be able to lift over 20 lbs multiple times per shift
