Position: Line Cook I
About: The MC Hotel, managed by Aparium Hotel Group, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cook I to join their culinary team in Montclair, New Jersey. The hotel is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, offering a unique experience in the heart of Montclair with upscale amenities including a restaurant and rooftop bar overlooking Manhattan. Requirements: Passion for culinary arts; minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a mid-level cook or higher, with at least four (4) years’ experience in a free-standing or hotel restaurant kitchen; demonstrated knowledge of food safety guidelines and requirements; introductory skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; adaptable interpersonal communication skills; conversational proficiency in the English language; ability to calculate basic math principles; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 25 lbs.; ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
