About: A restaurant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety standards.
Requirements: Providing and maintaining high-quality food standards; Solid knowledge of food products and culinary techniques; Assistance in service execution; Menu knowledge and attention to detail; Preparation of all restaurant foods including banquets; Kitchen supplies restocking and labeling; Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment; Assisting in health, safety, and sanitation procedures; Lowering food costs and wastes; Communication with management and staff; Following company procedures and policies; Comprehension of English language; Basic knife skills and recipe reading ability; Knowledge of cooking techniques, utensils, and equipment; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
