Position: LINE COOK 2 – THE TOWN COMPANY
About: Serenely located within the historic Kansas City Club building, The Hotel Kansas City combines the old-world charm of a historic social club with modern luxury and elegance. With 144 guest rooms, Town Company, a three-meal restaurant, Nighthawk, a live music cellar cocktail bar, and a lobby lounge and bar, the hotel offers a unique setting for events, dining, and nightlife.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred; food and sanitation certified preferred; good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation; 1 year of culinary experience preferred; availability to work different shifts including weekends and holidays; ability to work nights; must be able to speak, read, and understand English to communicate effectively; enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate about food; foster and uphold a culture of respect, learning, and positivity amongst colleagues; continuous or repetitive arm-hand movements required; able to bend or stoop repeatedly over time; clean work area and equipment using appropriate materials; able to move objects between 20-50lbs short distances; ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform essential job functions for an extended period of time
