Position: Lifelong Learning Coordinator

About: Brown University’s Office of Alumni Relations is seeking a dedicated Lifelong Learning Coordinator to support the development of engaging programming and opportunities for Brown alumni. The Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Director of Lifelong Learning to enhance the Lifelong Learning program through initiatives like the ‘Speakers Bureau,’ Lifelong Learning Calendar, Digest, and Media Bank, fostering intellectual exploration among alumni. This role involves building a diverse database of speakers for various engagement formats and collaborating with different teams, including generational programming and alumni clubs, while also managing administrative and technology tasks.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum 3 years of experience in development, nonprofit, event planning, or administrative support; strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, project management, and time-management skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interaction with various stakeholders; ability to work independently and in a team environment; proficiency in Google suite and other technology platforms like Eventbrite and Zoom; exceptional customer relations and discretion; willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and travel when necessary
