Position: Lead Sommelier
About: Quince is a three-star Michelin star restaurant renowned for its California contemporary cuisine. The restaurant received a Green Star from Michelin in 2020 for its exceptional work with local farmers and suppliers, sourcing much of its produce from its own farm in West Marin County. The menus at Quince are highly seasonal, with a strong emphasis on using fresh, local ingredients to create inspiring culinary creations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; proven experience in a similar role, preferably with Michelin experience; extensive knowledge of wines, particularly small producers; strong understanding of wine service mechanics and the ability to discuss wine eloquently; ability to work collaboratively with the Wine Director and Culinary Team; excellent organizational and administrative skills; passion for hospitality and commitment to maintaining high standards; ability to lead educational sessions and seminars on wine; understanding of confidentiality and adherence to EEO guidelines
