Position: Lead Night Porter
About: Grand Canyon University, a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a full-time Lead Porter for Night Shift in the Janitorial Cleaning Services Department. The department is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and utilizing commercial-grade cleaning equipment to support the university’s mission.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a commercial cleaning capacity or related field; background investigation clearance and a valid driver’s license; bilingual preferred; knowledge of janitorial products, green cleaning products, and cleaning agents; proficient in operating floor cleaning machinery and power washers; familiarity with OSHA and MSDS requirements; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to complete shift reports; understanding of vendor practices and ability to provide insights to leadership and vendors
