Position: Lead Network Support Specialist (RapidScale)

RapidScale is currently looking for a Lead Network Support Specialist with a high level of network expertise to serve as the technical authority within the Managed Network Organization, delivering and supporting managed network services for external customers.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in a related field; customer service orientation with attention to detail; experience with a ticketing system and managing a ticket queue; ability to solve complex technical problems independently and escalate when necessary; exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage escalations effectively; extensive technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and QoS; proven experience with network switching, security, wireless, and routing equipment.
