Position: Lead Network Support Specialist (RapidScale)

About: RapidScale, a growing leader in secure, reliable managed cloud solutions and part of the Cox family of companies, is seeking a Lead Network Support Specialist with high-level expertise in SD-WAN, firewalls, network security, routing, and switching to serve as the technical authority within the Managed Network Organization (MNO) delivering and supporting managed network services for external customers. This role requires solving the toughest network challenges and leading technical resolution efforts, including troubleshooting intricate network designs and restoring critical services under pressure.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 7 years’ experience in a related field; customer service-oriented with attention to detail; experience with a ticketing system and managing a ticket queue; solve complex technical problems with little supervision and escalate when appropriate; exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage escalations effectively; extensive technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards including routers, switches, firewalls, remote access, VPN, IPsec, BGP, VLAN, VRF, and QoS; proven experience with vendor-agnostic network switching, network security, wireless, and routing equipment.
