About: A meat market looking for a Lead Meat Department position with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Requirements: Graduation from high school or GED; 3 years of minimum experience as a Lead of a Meat Department; Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish and English; Knowledge of health standards; Experience and knowledge to inspect and evaluate the quality of the products; Ability to determine the type of tools and meat market equipment needed to do the work; Experience and knowledge of operation and control of the meat market equipment and tools; Skill and knowledge to use all parts of the animal to reduce shrinkage; Ability to lead and manage staff; Ability to follow safety rules and operating procedures as directed by management; Knowledge of Mexican meat cuts; Health certification for food handling
