Position: Lead Kitchen Steward
About: DDC – Tucson, AZ is seeking a Lead Kitchen Steward to oversee kitchen stewarding operations and staff in a casino setting, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations. The role involves managing team schedules, contributing to guest and team satisfaction, and maintaining food production service areas.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; three (3) years of Steward/Kitchen experience; preferably in a large, multi-outlet, casino, hotel, or resort environment; ability to lead a diverse workforce, knowledge of culinary facility maintenance, FDA health codes, cleaning practices, and scheduling techniques; certifications in Food Handlers and TIPS; strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure; basic computer skills; physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a casino kitchen environment with varying shifts and exposure to heat and noise.
