Position: Lead Cook
About: Parkview Health’s Nutrition Services department is seeking a dedicated Lead Cook to join their team. The Lead Cook will work closely with the Nutrition Services Supervisor to ensure timely and well-presented meal service, focusing on providing nutritious and visually appealing food for retail areas, patient services, and coffee kiosks. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and appearance of all food served in the Nutrition support areas, adhering to temperature and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED; Food preparation experience and knowledge of sanitation requirements in a healthcare setting preferred; 2 years of experience in leading food service operations preferred; Must be able to lift 40 pounds; Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; Ability to multi-task and work independently with critical thinking skills
Benefits: full-time benefit eligibility, night shifts, 7 PM – 6 AM
