Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Culinary certification preferred; Knowledge of nutritional needs of children up to the age of 18 and the required quantity and type of food edible for children; Minimum of 1 year of professional cooking experience, with leadership or supervisory experience a plus; Must have a valid driver’s license and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agency business; Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g., ServSafe certification preferred); Ability to read and interpret financial statements, budgets, audit reports; Strong organizational and time-management skills; Ability to adapt menus to meet dietary restrictions and preferences; A passion for working with children and youth in a supportive environment
