Position: Lead Cook *
About: DDC – Glendale, AZ is seeking a Lead Cook to join their Food & Beverage team. The position involves preparing food items, delegating tasks to cooks, and maintaining a clean work area in a fast-paced kitchen environment within the casino setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; at least 3 years of recent experience as a cook; 1 year of supervisory experience as a Lead Cook or equivalent; ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card; knowledge of kitchen operations, safe practices, culinary techniques, and food safety regulations; strong communication skills in English; ability to work in a busy environment and coordinate tasks among team members; physically able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various kitchen duties; flexible to work different shifts including holidays and weekends
