Position: Lead Child and Youth Program Assistant (Level 5) CY-02
About: Fort Sill, OK Child Development Center is seeking qualified candidates to fill positions within the program. Management reserves the right to assign staff as needed to different locations.
Requirements: All candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate; be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following criteria: Possess and maintain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, Military School Age Credential, Army Youth Practicum, or similar nationally recognized Youth Development Credential; OR have two years of specialized experience working with children or youth in a group program plus an associate’s degree or 60 semester hours directly related to the age group; OR hold a bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework; OR have 24 months of experience in a group childcare or youth program with completion of DoD approved training courses. Applicants with experience in childcare/youth program accreditation processes, program inspections, working with different age groups, and mentoring staff will be highly preferred.
