About: Berkeley Dining at the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking a Lead Cashier to join their team. Berkeley Dining is a self-operated dining program focused on culinary excellence, social responsibility, and supporting the living/learning environment of their customers. With over 12,000 meal plan holders, Berkeley Dining serves over 5 million meals annually in various dining facilities on campus, employing a large staff including both full-time and part-time employees as well as Cal student workers.
Requirements: Cash handling experience in a retail operation; Public contact skills and experience; Experience directing other employees; Basic English and math skills related to the job; Recordkeeping and documentation experience; Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; High school diploma or equivalent experience
