Position: Lead Bartender – Banquets
About: The Lead bartender is responsible for assisting the Banquet/Beverage Management team to provide the highest quality beverage experience for our members and their guests by exercising the highest degree of professionalism, using the standards and procedures provided, and ensuring the successful delivery of the Beverage Service Guarantees. While the Lead bartender does not have the authority to deliver progressive discipline to the staff, they are authorized and expected to guide and instruct the bartenders as well as be an integral part in monitoring service, controlling inventory levels and beverage cost, tracking bar consumption on Accubar, performing daily inventories and requisitions, issuing side work assignments, training staff, and keeping the lines of communications open between the management team and bartenders.
Requirements: At least 2 years of experience as a bartender in a fine dining establishment, preferably in a private club environment, hotel, or upscale banquet facility; TAM or TIPs Certification, or other alcoholic beverage service certification mandatory; Strong knowledge of wine, liquor, beer, cocktails, and other beverages; Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special club events, including sporting events
