Position: Lead Barista – Spring 2025
About: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations, including NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value, and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success. The position is located in coffee shops and cafes including Port City Java (multiple locations), Starbucks (Talley Student Union), Hill of Beans (D.H. Hill Library), and Common Grounds (Hunt Library).
Requirements: Current NC State University student with a flexible schedule; demonstrate excellent customer service skills; ability to work with a team to serve a diverse population; elevated oral and written communication skills; ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation; must attend mandatory student employee orientation and training sessions; ability to work in a fast-paced environment to prep, serve, and restock food and merchandise items; ability to read and follow both written and verbal instructions and recipes to efficiently and accurately assemble menu items.
