Position: Lead Baker – Full Time
About: Whole Foods Market is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Baker to join their team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking high-quality goods in line with Whole Foods Market’s standards. This role involves providing leadership and mentorship to team members in the bakery department while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 14+ months retail experience; thorough product, production, and equipment knowledge for bakery items; ability to follow production schedules, recipes, and troubleshoot production issues; strong communication and teamwork skills; physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in varied conditions including exposure to cleaning chemicals and temperature fluctuations
