Position: Lead Artisan Baker
About: Lead Artisan Baker position available in Orem, Utah. The role involves maintaining quality standards and product levels of fresh baked artisan bread products in the bakery, as well as training other artisan associates. Responsibilities include mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking artisan breads, ensuring product quality and freshness, inventory management, and delivering exceptional customer service. The position also involves teaching and mentoring artisan bakers and collaborating with store management.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; one year of baking experience preferred; current Food Handler’s Permit; ability to read and follow recipes; basic math skills for recipe adjustments; knowledge of baking procedures and times; excellent communication and organization skills; ability to handle conflict and provide constructive feedback; must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
