Position: LAUNDRY PERSONNEL SWING SHIFT
About: The Laundry worker at a healthcare facility is responsible for washing and drying linen and residents’ clothes, ensuring prompt return of clean linen to storage and residents’ clothes to owners, proper identification, and reporting any losses or damages. Additionally, maintaining an inventory of linens and laundry supplies.
Requirements: High school diploma preferred; Previous experience preferable but not essential; Worker receives on-the-job training with supervision; Must have an understanding of standard procedures used in laundry services for patients and in caring for clothes, linens, equipment, and supplies; Has an interest in learning, ability to cooperate, and is willing to work under supervision; Must have the ability to work well with coworkers
