Position: Laundry Attendant – Central Laundry Facility, Virginia Beach VA
About: Responsible for weighing, receiving, sorting, loading, finishing, and shipping clean high-quality finished linens, ensuring no co-mingling of customer-owned goods, and reporting mechanical and quality deficiencies promptly. Follow all safety and security procedures in a production environment.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, work program, or equivalent education desired; past laundry work experience in a facility or similar setting preferred; ability to acquire and retain basic knowledge of laundry cleaning chemicals and procedures; works well under moderate stress, including meeting deadlines; capable of working flexible shifts, irregular hours, weekends, and holidays to accommodate multiple schedules; maintains high quality standards while performing repetitive tasks
