Position: Kitchen Steward Lead
About: Desert Diamond Casino, located in Waddell, AZ at White Tanks at San Lucy, is seeking a Kitchen Steward Lead to oversee kitchen stewarding operations and staff on assigned shifts. The role includes responsibilities such as dish room operations, night cleaning, receiving and storing orders, back dock cleaning, banquet plating, and food running, aiming to improve guest and team member satisfaction.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED plus two (2) years of experience in Stewarding in a large, multi-outlet, Casino, Hotel, or Resort; must be 18 years of age or older; no felony convictions; ability to pass pre-employment screenings and obtain/maintain a gaming license; knowledge of managing diverse workforces, culinary facility maintenance, FDA health codes, cleaning practices, scheduling techniques, and communication skills; ability to obtain Food Handlers card and TIPS certification; intermediate to advanced computer skills
