Position: KITCHEN PORTER
About: We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at UAB Medical West. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized, and assisting with basic food preparation. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success of our kitchen operations.
Requirements: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment; Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds; Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Food safety certification; Experience with industrial kitchen equipment; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
