Position: Kitchen Manager – Restaurant
About: Torchy’s Tacos, a renowned food chain originating in Austin, Texas in 2006, has grown to operate in numerous locations across multiple states. Torchy’s is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee Back of the House (BOH) operations and maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food quality in their restaurant.
Requirements: Management experience in restaurants; 3+ years of kitchen management experience; Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification; high-level understanding of training and development concepts; ability to foster teamwork; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; excellent time management; ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds; ability to stand for several hours, walk for long periods, bend, stretch, twist, or reach objects on shelves at various heights
