Position: Kitchen Manager – Restaurant
About: Torchy’s started in Austin, Texas in 2006 and has since expanded to multiple locations across states. The company’s mission is to be damn good and serve the best tacos, driven by passion and attention to detail. They are currently seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee Back of the House operations in their restaurant.
Requirements: Management experience in restaurants; 3+ years of kitchen management experience; State alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification required; High-level understanding of training and development concepts; Ability to foster teamwork; Leadership skills; Oral and written communication skills; Excellent time management; Bilingual a plus; Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds; Ability to stand for several hours, walk for long periods, bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects at various heights
