Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: Horizons Café, located in the ConocoPhillips building in downtown Anchorage, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee daily operations and on-site catering services. This hands-on role involves leading a small team, managing kitchen staff, developing menus, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and client policies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; five (5) years of experience in quantity food production operations and at least three (3) years of supervisory experience in the food service industry; valid driver’s license and clean driving record; Certified Professional Food Manager or equivalent; proficient in Microsoft Office; must be able to pass pre-employment screening process including drug screen, criminal background investigation, and post-offer physical/functional capacity evaluation
