Position: Jr Sous Chef
About: The Adobe Bar & Grille is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food quality and 5-star service. This position involves assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet the operation’s elevated standards. Responsibilities include supervising and training cooks, overseeing food preparation, managing inventory, ensuring efficient kitchen operations during peak periods, collaborating with other departments for a seamless dining experience, and stepping in for the Sous Chef or Executive Chef when necessary.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school preferred but not required; Minimum two years’ cooking (line and/or prep) experience in a full-service restaurant; Previous lead or working supervisory experience required
