Position: Inventory Planner
About: Achieve company inventory management goals for aligned suppliers to enhance supply chain efficiencies and maintain customer service levels. Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers, and logistics for effective inventory control. Utilize inventory systems and tools to optimize inventory and service levels. Resolve replenishment issues and manage SKU count to support company goals and established KPIs. Execute purchasing of new items and system setups, reacting to market conditions and seasonal trends. Ensure accuracy in pricing and quantity of purchase orders, and timely resolution of requests.
Requirements: Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 3+ years of Inventory Management/Purchasing experience; experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution environment; familiarity with distributor operations preferred. Professional Skills: Proficient in Excel; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent attention to detail and follow-up; proactive problem-solving and multitasking abilities; adaptability to change and execution of replenishment best practices; solid organizational, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
