Position: Inventory Manager

About: Got Light is a company that applies a fresh approach to lighting, audio, video, staging, and drape in the special event and wedding industry. They produce hundreds of events each year, including major opening parties and social galas, promoting team-building and maintaining high employee retention rates in a fun and dynamic work environment.

Requirements: Immaculate upkeep of the company’s inventory in a 32,000 square foot facility; Become fluent with over 3500 unique inventory items by name and location; Manage quarterly, yearly and spot inventory hand counts and adjustments; Forecasting, tracking and replenishment of production supplies and expendables (gel, gaff tape, zip ties, etc.); Monitor, track, and schedule equipment repairs & maintenance; Assist with overall warehouse organization, storage, labeling, shelving; Ensures equipment is functioning, well organized and ready to support event productions and the goals of the business; Advises employees on the care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping related problems; Examine records and recommend remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow-moving, and excess/obsolete stock; Other duties as assigned
